Hey everyone, it has been long since i last blog =)
sorry cos i am juz too plain lazy. I dunno y today i juz have the mood to blog something down.
Today i realise that we s'porean is very fortunate & lucky. We do not have natural disaster & almost everyone of us living in s'pore has a shelter over our head, food & clothes to wear.
Today my collegue came back from JB to work cos the water has subsided & he is able to come out. He has been back at JB since last wednesday. As u all know it has been raining almost every ****ing day. He went back because his wife called him on wed telling him that their hse has water entering in so he rush back to see his family as his wife sound quite serious on the phone. When he reached his hse in JB, the water level is already to the waist level. So they started moving their stuff to the 2nd flr. But the thing that should not happen really happened. Nx day early in the morning, the government open the gantry of the river and release the water and all the water gashed out and flooded the whole town. The water level rise up above a human height and flooded the entire town & there goes his entire hse & car. Everything is gone in juz a few minutes -_-"
He has calculated & told mi that the losses he had is roughly 100 thousand RM. There is no way he can get back a single cent. He had to be in the water for the whole 4 days saving ppls in the town and clearing the rubbish to prevent the rubbish lyk sofa, cupboard etc from hitting anyone due to the strong flow of the water. Today while i am driving, it started to rain and he tell mi he got a phobia for water now. I can completely understand cos there is no electricity at night in the town and they had to be in the water without knowing wad will happen nx. He also told mi he is worrying about his wife whom is alone in JB cos he scare the water will return back cos he see that it has been raining the whole of today.
He also told mi that at the end of this month, his son need to go for an operation which will cost him $4000. Can u all imagine ? if he does not have a strong will, he would already commited suicide. Imagine losing everything, got to redo the hse, buy furniture, son need money for op. This can really make a person mad thats y he got no soul to work today. Wad makes it worse is that he had injured his chest. He can't carry those heavy things so i would carry for him. Although he can't carry but he die die wan to carry but i tell him to let mi carry. When he had a slight cough or use too much force, his face will frown cos its very painful. Omg, i feel so saddening the whole of today seeing him suffering and the tradegy that he got.
Our company collected money from everyone of us as a small token for him and he keep on thanking all of us & felt bad.
Haiz, I am gonna take a rest now cos am sick myself too =(
reason being: too tired & the stupid rain cos for the last 4 days i have been in the rain and then air con and then rain again.
So i really hope that heaven will spare everyone by not raining everyday. GOD bless everyone
